Your life is far from over. I hope you believe that. And I hope you know that this guy who tried to destroy you is not even worth a second of your time.

Easy love is not real love. Easy love is above the surface of anything real. It’s too perfect to be authentic. It’s just plain lazy.

She will know when to say “I love you”.

A one-sided love is a storm that will only end in loss and broken parts.

So, please. For your own sake, don’t be naive. Don’t play along. Don’t respond and don’t dream of him anymore. He isn’t worth your time.

It’s time to start living, my friends. You’ll get yourself together one of these days. Just have some fun once in a while! You only have today to start living the life you want and it’s about time to start that, don’t you think so?

The right person will love you in an entirely different way than your past lovers. You see, it’s not going to be picture perfect. It’s not going to be all butterflies and roses. But, that is what is going to make it so right.

Sometimes, memories of him come back in bright flashbacks and soft whispers. I guess my heart will always know the truth. It knows it will never forget, no matter how many times my mind tries to convince me otherwise.

Little boy, she has more heart than you will ever have. She is more beautiful than you will ever be. And she is her own damn sun, moon, star, and sky.

“I dated a guy for four years. When I was finally ready for him to be my first, he blurted out that he had slept with a woman at his work. I’ve been scarred ever since.”

If he never asks you questions about yourself, he’s totally not into you. And finally, if he texts you, “Want to hang out?” at 2 a.m on a Monday, HE’S NOT INTO YOU.

And I want a relationship where when he tells me he loves me, he will say it without hesitation in his voice or a drop of liquor on his tongue.

“When you love someone, you say their name different. Like it’s safe inside your mouth.”

But I can’t forget you. Not now and not ever. I think a part of you is stapled onto my heart forever. Or maybe you’re painted on it. Permanent brush strokes that make me happy and sad at the same time.

Be astonished by how the stars light up the dark, and how it can snow in March and how rivers never seem to end. Taste different tongues and smile when lips meet yours that crave you just as much.

The acceptance of what has already happened, is tragically beautiful. It gives you the power to finally let go. And to finally start healing and stitch your sweet soul back together.

I hope you remember that you were brought into this earth because somebody wanted you. And somebody still wants you here. You’re a miracle gift to the world. And my dear, you are loved.
