Make it to New Years and realize you don’t have resolutions.

It was in those moments of such despair that I learned about who I wanted to be rather than who I was.

Depression strives in turning everyone and everything black in its path but those who fight through depression replaces that darkness with a light that touches everyone they come in contact with.

Maybe she expected you to follow through because she never would have canceled on you and come up with an excuse.

When something ends let it go. Don’t water a dead flower.

If you could be more like them in one way what would it be?

You should have a least five people you can really count on who really are good for you. I mean good for your happiness. Good for your emotional health. Good for your wellbeing.

For a relationship to work it takes both people doing something right and when it ends it’s both people doing something wrong.

That person who keeps you up at night. That person who tells you these crazy ideas and before you can even think about whether it’s a good idea or not you’re already following their lead. Because there’s just something about them that’s unlike anyone else you’ve ever met.

I love you for teaching me to fight for someone because I after you I learned to fight for myself.

The truth is I’m at a point in my life that if I don’t see a potential of a real long future together, I’ll let you go and just wait.

Do expect to meet his friends…but don’t put them down.

We are in a generation where it’s easy to walk away and just give up. Don’t do that. Be that story that says we made it all the way and that’s because we never gave up on each other or walked away from the love we found.

When you put your best foot forward and something doesn’t work in your favor or turn out as expected, you don’t analyze what you did wrong fixate upon the thing you can’t change you just learn from it. You move forward. And you hope the next time around it’s a better outcome. And when it’s right everything simplistically fits together and do better you learn to be grateful for all of it.

To fail at anything means you are trying something new and trying something that is outside of your comfort zone.
