You deserve a person who knows your worth and effortlessly reaches your standards. 

It taught me to be less of a pessimist. It made me realize that true love does exist, that people can stay loyal, that I am not meant to be alone. 

Effort means placing a kiss on their cheek when you come home from work and squeezing their hand while grocery shopping and blasting their favorite song in the car. 

I get attached easily because it’s rare for me to get along with other people. Usually, I have nothing to say. Usually, I fake laughs and smiles until I’m alone again and can breathe.

Your forever person will answer your most serious texts with phone calls. 

It convinces us to stick around for longer than we should just in case. It gives us false hope. It makes us think we might have a future when you know we don’t. 

I never realize I’m hurting people because I think so low of myself. I can’t imagine anyone being upset about losing me. I can’t imagine anyone caring that much about me. 

It is not love when only one person is exerting effort, when only one person seems to care whether the relationship lasts or collapses into rubble.

Virgo: You learned that almost relationships can hurt just as deeply as official relationships. You learned that your heart can be broken by someone you never dated. 

I want someone who will put in effort instead of doing the bare minimum to keep me around.

I love myself for keeping my standards high. For saying no to your unanswered texts, your canceled plans, your unspoken compliments.

You are cheating on your person every time you hang out with someone behind their back or text someone behind their back.

The little things are what can make a relationship collapse or last. 

Never date someone who treats you well when they are sober and turns into a totally different person when they’re drunk.

I don’t care how many people tell me that anger is poison and that forgiving you will bring me peace.

Aries: In 2017, you said goodbye to toxic people. You might think of that as a bad thing, as you losing people. But really, you gained something. You gained self-worth. You gained a fresh start. A chance to start over. 

She notices when you lie. You might think she is gullible, but really, she sees exactly what you’re doing.
