It is no surprise that when a type as dutiful and productive as the ISTJ puts aside time to spend specifically with you, it’s not without meaning – it’s their way of displaying their love and appreciation. Beyond their preference for quality time, ISTJs were closely matched on preferences for acts of service, words of affirmation and physical touch.
To show love for an ISTJ, spend time getting to know them and partaking in the activities they enjoy. They will appreciate your willingness to share in experiences with them. You can also display your love by relieving them of small chores or duties – ISTJs see love as a partnership and they will appreciate your willingness to help them out with day-to-day responsibilities. Lastly, let your ISTJ know you love them by telling them outright and showering them with physical displays of affection (preferably when you’re alone – their introverted nature may cause them to shy away from public displays of affection). This seemingly stoic type enjoys physical contact and kind words just as much as the next person!

This type is very deliberate with their schedule, so if they’re factoring you in regularly, it means you’re important to them. Also notice when the ISTJ is going out of their way to alleviate you of tasks or responsibilities that you have piling up – they want to make your life run as smoothly as they possibly can, because they love you – even if they don’t always say it.
