A person not seeing your worth is not an invitation to try to prove them wrong. It’s a sign that this person is not meant to be in your life because the ones who see your worth don’t need proof.
This was the year I realized that family doesn’t always mean love, and romance doesn’t always mean forever.
I hope you know that seeing you happy made me want to be happy without you. It made me realize that my pain makes you happy. My misery brings you joy. My heartbreak brings you power.
When you feel disconnected from everyone around you, it means you’re growing, you’re evolving, you’re becoming a new and improved version of yourself, you’re changing and people don’t react well to change.
Learn to love these bits and pieces because that’s how you learn how to love the whole picture. That’s how you learn to like who you see in the mirror.
In the grand scheme of things, love is simple. The person who wants to talk to you will find a way to talk to you. The person who wants to see you, will not decline your invitations.
We could have made it in another world, another era, another universe where the stars align for us and timing is on our side and our hearts are fearless again.
I’m learning how to let what’s meant for me find me instead of actively searching for it or convincing myself that it’s right around the corner.
Because if a person decides to give you the silent treatment, they rarely take it back.
You know you’ve outgrown games when mixed signals don’t confuse you anymore. They’re actually clear signals to you now. They mean that someone is confused or not sure about you so either way there’s nothing you can do to help.
