27 Insanely Scary Stories That Will Chill You To The Core

20. I was chased by a group of kids

Not the scariest thing, but scary enough. I was at a friend’s house for a sleepover and we decided to go to the school down the street to hang out at the park in the middle of the night. I’m not sure why, just bored, I guess. There was a group of older kids there dressed all in black and we said hey but they just ignored us. We were a little creeped out, so we decided to walk back to the house. We got about 100 yards down the road and looked behind us. They were following us, spread out across the road. We sped up our walk and once we got to the edge of the yard, we ran inside the house. We locked the front door, the side door to the garage and the back sliding door. We stayed away from the windows and we told the others what had happened. About 20 minutes later, we hear a lot of racket coming from the garage. The garage door was broken and always stayed up a few feet and there were just lots of boxes in it. We decided not to look and just wait it out, knowing that the door was locked. They banged on the door as hard as they could repeatedly. They left after a few minutes.

21. Chucky attacked me at night

When I was younger I was deathly afraid of “Chucky” from child’s play and my brother had a “my buddy” doll which for all intents and purposes looked like Chucky. So one night my mom asked me to feed the dogs in the basement that was pitch black and when I turned the stairwell light on there was the my buddy doll sitting at the end of the stairwell in a circle of light. Needless to say I lost my shit figuratively and literally. It traumatized me for the longest time. They would do this and set it at the end of my bed all the time as well.

22. I almost crashed my motorcycle.

A few years back I was traveling on the interstate on my motorcycle when my chain snapped. It wrapped itself around the back sprocket of my bike and caused the rear wheel to lock up. I was going around 75-80 mph when this happened. To this day I have no fucking clue how I kept control of my bike and didn’t get killed.
