27 Insanely Scary Stories That Will Chill You To The Core

17. I saw a woman staring through my window

I was maybe 13 year old, me and my friend decide to go to our friend house (he lived on third floor) so we all can celebrate New Year together. It was night, we watched movie and after that decided to play video games. I looked outside window and there was a woman with her eyes fully open staring at me. I told my friends, they came to window and she was still just staying there staring at us. We continue playing video games and after like 10 mins we checked again and she was still there just staring at us. My friend decide to wake up his 20 year old brother but when he came that woman was not there. It was so creepy.

18. I was followed home by a stranger

One day, I missed the bus when I was 15. I was maybe 5’1/5’2 and 96lbs.

I had to walk a couple blocks by myself at 5:30 in the morning as part of my daily routine. It was usually pitch black outside but there were other students walking to the stop so it never occurred to me this could be dangerous. On this particular day, I left my house a little later than usual and it took a bit for me to realize that I missed the bus because I saw no one else outside.

That’s when I see the silhouette of a man casually standing by the fence, a few feet ahead of me. Going with my gut instinct, I turned around and started walking home. I glance back and he’s following me. I turn into my block and he turns too. That’s when I booked it – and so did he.

I dropped my backpack immediately and started screaming loudly and some of the neighbors came out. They started chasing him but no one caught him.

19. A stalker won’t leave me alone

Got into an online debate with someone on abortion when I was 11 or 12. This person (an adult in her 30s) started flaming, got banned from the forum, and promptly called us a hate group (it was, like, a Star Wars fanforum, iirc).

This person has apparently been keeping tabs on me since, and keeps a blog that posts my name and address as well as records of the debate. I’m almost 20 now.
