27 Insanely Scary Stories That Will Chill You To The Core

11. A mystery woman came to my house crying

Me and the family were watching TV at our house a while back, when a lady we don’t know runs into our property in absolute hysteria, banging on our front door, begging us to let her in. So we let her in and lock the front door and she is an absolute wreck, crying and sobbing everywhere, while mum goes to get her cleaned up, I see a man calmly walk up to our driveway, stop about half way, turn around and calmly walk away.

A little while later mums gotten her to calm down and tidied her up a little, when a banged up Nissan carelessly just parks itself on our berm, it’s the same guy I saw earlier. With no expression he get out of the front door, walks to the back door, pulls a baby out of the back and, not saying a word, raises above his head for us and the mystery woman to see. The woman starts crying again and starts to panic, we try to calm her down, but she slips out the back door (Front was still locked) and goes to join the man.

If still shudder to think of what he did to her and the kid to this day.

12. My grandpa visited me in a dream

I’m not religious or believe in much, but I will not believe that there isn’t another dimension after death.

When I was 8 years old, we left my grandparents house from dinner. My mom put me to bed. I had a dream that my grandpa was sitting by my bedside and he told me loved me and that I was going to be ok and to make him proud. My Mom then woke me up (it was like 4am) to tell me my grandpa passed away and that we needed to go to my Grandparents house.

To this day I can’t shake that night.

13. My grandmother said goodbye before she died

When I was 15 or so, my mom and stepdad went to take care of my dying step-grandma in Texas (we’re in Canada). She was dying of lung cancer and didn’t have much longer. One evening, I was going to bed around 1130pm. I got under the covers and I could feel some sort of blockage at the end of my bed. I griped at my dog Dusty to get off the bed. Nothing. Griped at my dog Hazel to get off. Nothing. I could feel the weight of whatever it was on my feet at the end of the bed. I looked to see what was there, maybe it was one of the cats. Nothing was there, but I swear I could see an indentation of something sitting on my feet. I panicked and screamed ‘Go!’, and then it left. I was thoroughly freaked out and slept on the couch. My Ma called the next morning and told me Grandma died at 1130. I told my mom what happened at that time and she laughed and said that Grandma had said she was going to say goodbye to my brother and I before she left. Such a clichéd story but oh God does it freak me out when I think back to it.

14. I was picked up by a stranger

When I was in 6th grade I was unlocking my bike outside of school to ride it home, when a guy in a pickup pulled up next to me and said, “Hey, MojaveRed, it’s Rusty, your dad asked me to pick you up today.” Now, my dad did have a friend named Rusty, who I had met once or twice, so I got in. He drove me home, stopping at the bank first, but dropped me off without me having to tell him the address or anything. When I got inside my mom asked how I got home so fast, and after I explained what happened she freaked the fuck out. Apparently my dad’s friend Rusty had moved, and they had no clue who had picked me up that day.
