I’m guarded because I’ve been hurt before. We all have. My weakness is that I carry the pain with me as a constant reminder that it could happen again.

The amount of energy and effort it takes to date today, makes a girl realize maybe her single lifestyle isn’t so bad. Dating is exhausting, being single isn’t.

22 is an age where it is okay to be a little selfish because it is an age where, however cliché it may sound, we are trying to find ourselves without having the worries to take care of someone else.

We live in a world where it matters what others think about you. As a recent college graduate on what feels like a never ending job search for a career that I am not only qualified for, but actually interested in, I have discovered that it really does matter how other people see you.

No one wants that naggy boyfriend or girlfriend that is attached to your hip 24/7. We already have four limbs and we don’t need anymore.
