I can see you so clearly on the other side, but you can’t see me. I can’t touch you. I can’t talk to you and as much as I want you to see how much I ache for you, you can’t and I don’t think you ever will.

Every time you go to a store and see mugs you feel like you have to buy a new one. While, of course, you already have a favorite mug you still always want to add more to your collection.

Ambiverts are a close to perfect balance of give and take.

But what I didn’t know then is you can’t mend a broken heart back together in a certain amount of time. You’re allowed to feel the pain and sadness for as long as you need.

They don’t let anything define them. They are really mellow about life. They don’t let what they’re going through in life or their relationships define them, they just keep on living.

But in all reality, do you really want to date the guy that has some chick bent over grinding on her? Yeah, I didn’t think so.

“Timing honestly is a real factor. I don’t care what quote you read or movie line you hear, it actually matters. I once really liked this girl, but she already had plans to move away after college so I decided it wasn’t worth it because the timing wasn’t right.”

When people ask you if you want kids of your own and you just stand there blankly and say, ‘uhhhhhh’ and run away. Forever.

When you were younger everything felt good and it felt safe, like you’d never have to think about living a day without each other. You thought you’d be inseparable, you naïvely thought things would never change, but maybe that’s just because you tried so hard to block out the reality you knew was coming.

The simple things bring you joy, they make you happy and that’s awesome. You’re down to get dirty in nature because fun is what it’s all about. You don’t need a lot to be happy and spontaneous adventures bring you joy.

I’ll never be able to let down my hair and fall on a strangers bed. I’ll never be able to sleep with someone whose first name I might not remember. I’ll never be able to get naked for someone I don’t have any connection with.

I don’t want to wait around for days on end, hoping he might text me or Tweet something about me. I want him to call me; I want to hear his voice. I don’t want the games, I don’t want the rules, I want honesty and I want him to be upfront.
