I’m not going to tell you it was okay how you treated me or that it was both of our faults. Because it wasn’t. It was yours. It was you. 

Look at your life and decide what part you’d like to courageously start 2019 with.

You changed before, and you’ll change again.

You must find excuses to initiate conversation in order to spark plan and see each other.

Closure doesn’t change anything that already happened.

He broke your heart. Your disappointment took your breath away. You felt hopeless and alone.

Every part of your life is exciting at whatever stage you happen to be in. Age doesn’t matter, relationship status doesn’t matter.

Infertility happens and it is not easy to deal with at any age under any circumstances.

Don’t misread the ease of social media for natural human contact.

If you’re afraid of what comes next, feel the excitement of what could be.

But you’re both single. Why should you cut yourself off from lust and affection just because you don’t happen to be in a committed relationship?

He isn’t a jerk and he isn’t rude. He doesn’t promise you things or set any expectations. At the same time, he makes you feel happy, only to ignite expectations that can never be met.

It’s easy to confuse lust with love, especially when you aren’t used to being loved.

There is always going to be a better looking guy. There is always going to be a better looking girl. There is always going to be someone more successful. The problem we face today is that these options are so easily accessible to everyone.

Know that if this guy wanted you, the words “I’m not looking for anything serious,” would have never left his mouth.

Over the years I’ve chosen to not answer a text and I’ve also had a guy not answer my text. After many instances of denying others and also being denied myself, I’ve come up with a number of reasons to why you aren’t getting a text back.

We deserve to be someone’s unquestionable first choice. If you aren’t their first choice, then why would you want to be with them? You don’t.

A wise woman once said, “let that shit go.”
