This one really pisses me off, because it’s honestly so common, but no one will admit it.

You genuinely hate all those quotes that girls share about how “If you can’t handle me at my worst, blah blah blah,” because, in your experience, the only relationships that work are the ones where BOTH parties are trying to be the best version of themselves.

There is nothing more stressful, when it comes to introvert interaction, than the full-on phone call. Texts and emails are so easy — they don’t demand immediate response, and the answers can be rehearsed a few times before being sent.

We have all dated the guy who is interested in hooking up, and occasionally hanging out together, and keeping it as “casual” as possible. If we are really into the guy, we even pretend to ourselves like this is a real relationship.

She’s still very pretty, but compared to the Barbie we’re used to seeing, she’s much more realistic.

Talking to someone on their 50th wedding anniversary. Talking to someone who has been divorced.

Slowly realizing that you are the same age or older as a lot of the celebrities or fictional characters that you always assumed were way older than you.

Being constantly asked “what’s wrong?” “are you okay?” and “why are you so quiet?” on dates.

“I like a girl who knows how to eat!”

And to think, people go to film school for years and years to be able to make something this creative and tell a story this good.

Sometimes it kind of hurts watching kids who are that talented.
