14. I know I was there, even if they say I wasn’t.

“When I was 2-3 years old my family lived in Lithuania. Throughout all my life I’ve been sure that my whole family (my pregnant mom, my father and myself) visited the Hill of Crosses near Siauliai. I could distinctly remember the sensations of the ground as I was climbing up the steps and had vivid images of the center cross. But I never knew what this place was called. A couple weeks ago I Googled it and asked my mother if she remembers our trip to this place. She surprisingly answered that it was only her and my father there and I was staying with my grandma then. I’m sure they never showed any photos to me as this is a sacred place to many people rather than a tourist sight to show to a small child. But I know I was there. Here is how it looks. ”
