19. My mum put me to bed in my room but I woke up downstairs.

“My mum put me to bed in my room but I woke up downstairs.

I thought it was a dream but some man picked me up when I was almost asleep, carried me down stairs and put me down on some blankets between a sofa and chair. I was quite young so my parents still had a safety gate.

My dad wasn’t in (worked nights then) and my mum was asleep so no one knows how I managed to get downstairs.

I can still remember this now, strangely.”

“When I was young, younger than 7, I’d sleep in my brother’s bed when I got scared. One night, I wake up to tapping at the window. A man is standing there, with a shaved head except a pony tail. He had a tattooed face and just stood there, staring at me. I shook my brother, half asleep, look away and when I look back to the window, he’s gone and my brother is pissed I woke him.”
