Once you finally realize that you can be your truest and happiest self without being involved with another person, you’ll get to be alone without being lonely. And you’ll actually like it.

My heart is as fragile as a piece of paper and it might just break in half. At least if you do it fast, it won’t hurt quite as much.

I want you to know that my heart is yours to take if yours can’t work as hard anymore. And I want you to know, that I will do everything in my power to hold your heart in the light when you can’t find your flashlight in the dark.

Love is nothing short of a miracle. And just because I haven’t found that miraculous connection yet, doesn’t mean I can’t celebrate other peoples’ miracles.

So, when the one who broke your heart comes crawling back to you, don’t let him in. Don’t give him the power to break you apart again. Don’t slip up. And don’t kiss him for the last time.
