Last night’s CBS Evening News ran an original and pretty moving story about John Bramblitt, a husband and father who went blind at the age of 30 due to complications from epilepsy. Bramblitt has figured out how to paint just by feeling the paints: he says different colors have different textures.
The age of in-between is a weird place. It is the early-20s where society wants us to have everything figured out, when really we have nothing figured out. Not even ourselves.
If he claims not to be comparing you to his ex, that just means he’s doing it secretly. It might be happening. Right. Now. Truthfully, he always will, but shouldn’t have to tell you that….

Age changes friendship. Time changes friendship. The ones that are meant to last, do last.
