Letting go is tough. Change is hard, but unavoidable.
I used to hate things ending. People leaving. Chapters closing. But I’ve learned that sometimes it’s okay for things to end.
People grow apart. People change. Friendships do as well. Someone who served you at 15 may not serve you at 25. Don’t feel obligated or forced to have someone in your life.
The days and years go by so fast. Savor the moments. Spend more time with people who matter. Make beautiful memories. Get off your phone.
Sometimes rock bottom lasts longer than we would like it to. That’s why coming out of it is so sweet.
For the next 365 days, focus less on resolutions and more on who you are and what you want.
Maybe you shouldn’t slow down. Maybe you were always meant to be this way.
Some of us hate the holidays, but we still try hard to make others happy.
The first holidays without them is just about getting through it.
We hold on when we know we shouldn’t. We cling to the past. We cling to memories long gone. Smiles that have left. Reasons that don’t actually make sense.
