Everything is better – more peaceful, more calm, more fun, more light, more reassuring – when you’re together. Even if things are difficult, they’re still so much better when you’re experiencing the difficulty together.

Libra: Nothing makes you feel better than meeting new people, being social, and having a different event in your calendar every single night. So while you’re in the middle of a particularly frustrating dating period, your social butterfly instinct goes on overload.

Look at the world as if you’re writing a novel and you’re desperate to make it feel human – notice the little details in the objects surrounding you, notice the little quirks in your coworkers and your spouse and the barista you see two days a week

It’s a wonderful thing to think about sometimes – that you’re not alone, that you have someone on your side, that you have someone fighting for you. But it’s also an insane thing to thing about – you have someone counting on you now, you have someone whose happiness should matter as much to you (or more to you) than your own.

The unspoken rule of the “I’m having a bad day, so please make me feel better” text message is that the other person will send a long, encouraging, and comforting reply – followed by multiple inappropriate gifs and pictures that make you burst out laughing unexpectedly.

When I am on the train now, and I watch two people recognize each other and say hello, I am overcome with a rush of gratitude over the fact that I am not one of them.

Sometimes you just go through your day feeling functional and okay and above water, but still not alive. Just chugging along, paying the bills, doing what you need to do to be an adult, being ‘fine.’

Gemini: Casually puke in the bathroom and then immediately rejoin your friends at the lovely group brunch you’re currently taking part in.

Sagittarius: You can make anything exciting.

Virgo: Diving into a good book or a brand new series you can bingewatch, so that you don’t waste your time overthinking or obsessing over every tiny little social interaction you had.
