I Hope You’re Doing Okay (But Don’t Expect A Text)

I hope you’re doing okay, but that doesn’t mean walking away was an overreaction. It doesn’t mean I regret anything that happened between us. It doesn’t mean you were right all along or that you deserve an apology. It doesn’t mean that you were innocent, after all.

Manipulation Is Not Love

If your partner loved you, they would value your judgment. They would trust you to make the right decision without feeling the need to interfere.

If You Want To Grow, You Need To Actively Work On Yourself

If you want to grow, you need to commit to change. You need to say goodbye to the life you’re currently living — which is scary. Even if you’re unhappy, you’re probably comfortable in one way or another. You know what each day will hold. You know what to expect. You know what is going to stress you out and how you’re going to respond. Even the most uncomfortable pieces of your current existence are predictable — and unpredictability is scary.

You’re Strong, Even Though You’re Suffering Right Now

You’re strong, even though you’re going through a rough time right now, even though you’re unsure how to cope with the emotions swarming through your head. You might not have the answers right now, but you’re going to figure this out. You have time. You need to breathe. You need to focus. You need to remember everything is going to be okay.
