Imagine getting 15 precious extra minutes of sleep – isn’t that a world you want to live in?

If you see him, tell him I miss him. Tell him I still need him when my world falls apart, tell him I still want to run to him
when I need to run from the world, tell him I can’t forget him, tell him I do nothing but remember him.

Capricorn. ‘Let me fix it.’ You’re known as the fixer between your family or your friends, you’re always trying to clean up other people’s mess and you tend to do a good job because you’re organized, cool, calm and collected and you know how to restore order.

I’m fine. Even when I cry, even when I miss you, even when I’m alone, even when I’m scared, even when I see you looking happy in pictures — even when I know you don’t miss me, I’m still fine.

Because the world is only beautiful when you have someone just as beautiful to share it with, someone you can watch the stars with, someone you can share your secrets with as you watch the sunrise, someone who can make you smile when it rains and someone you can get stuck in a storm with and still feel safe.

You’re tired of pretending you’re okay. You’re tired of saying there is nothing wrong with you when there is, you’re tired of having to lie to people about what’s going on and you’re tired of pretending to be strong and smiling when all you want to do is cry. You wish you could just let everyone know what’s wrong with you so they can leave you alone but you know that’s not possible.

I want us to know each other first before we let the world know about us. Because as much as I want to show you off to the world, I have noticed lately, that the world has a way of taking beautiful things and turning them ugly.

Tonight, I’m going to make you go home questioning my intentions, questioning if I care, reading too much into what I’m saying, confused about what I meant when I said this and what I was trying to tell you when I said that and I will make you stay up all night thinking about me.

Don’t believe someone when they tell you they’re not ready, they are but they just haven’t met the right person yet. No one can decide if they’re ready or not because love is not something you can control.

Spend more time with people who teach you how to be better, dream bigger and love harder.

I’d rather be the girl who tried and failed instead of the girl who played it safe. I’d rather be the girl who fell instead of the girl who never dared to jump.

I’m done wondering if you’ll call or not. I no longer wish it was you whenever the phone rings. I’m done waiting for your text, I’m done waiting for your apology and I’m done waiting for you to show me that you still care. I’m done waiting for you.

I left you because your honesty started to sound more like lies and you no longer cared to hear the truth.

Give me the things that will last whether we’re rich or poor. Give me the things that will matter no matter where we are.
Give me unforgettable conversations instead of dinners, shower me with your secrets instead of your gifts, pick me up when I’m feeling down instead of picking me up in a limo, be my star instead of buying me diamonds.

And sometimes your life begins after goodbye. When you know you can make it on your own, when you know you can survive, when you know that your hardest goodbye didn’t break you and when you realize how much stronger goodbyes can make you.

I hope you get well soon because the world needs you – because I need you. The world needs people with your kindness and compassion and the world needs people who still know how to love unconditionally without asking for anything in return.

Because the real problem is being someone you’re not to please someone else. The real problem is lying to someone else and to yourself about how you feel.

Somehow, the closer I got to you, the further I drifted from myself. Somehow, liking you more made me like myself less.
