Eight People Went Missing On The Saint Lawrence River And I Know What’s Happened To Them

Well, I was awoken by a call at 9:30, of course it was a blocked number. As soon as I answered it, I was greeted to what sounded like someone being forcibly drowned. I hung up and tried to make breakfast.

I called Officer Yeon as soon as the clock turned to 10. Before I could explain what had happened earlier, she told me something that baffled me.

“Listen, I know what has been happening to you. I know that it’s creepy, but you need to forget it. Stop answering the blocked calls, don’t go onto the water alone, forget about the DVD, just know that your situation is being handled.”

“I would really like to know what the fuck is going on.”

“This area is old, and with age comes mystery. I could tell you of the legends I was told when I got to this precinct, but in the end it doesn’t matter what you know. Pretend that this situation is the Lawrence. Even with what you have seen, you’re still a baby sunfish. Leave it alone.”

I sighed and said okay. I’m not in the mood to look over my boat.

I don’t feel safe. The dock down the road is completely roped off by tons of police vehicles and a few random, but very nice trucks. The person in the house next to me came up to me when I was walking towards the dock to tell me three miles of the lake near the dock had been cut off by the police.

I’ve gotten four missed calls from a blocked number since noon. I’m sitting by the fire pit and the woods behind my house smells like river water.
