Now time has passed. My wounds aren’t as deep; they’ve merely healed themselves completely over time. I don’t hate you anymore, I don’t think you’re ugly and I don’t think I’m better for him than you.

Trust is what makes a relationship successful. If you don’t trust someone without proof by creeping then the relationship isn’t working.

Progress is not possible without change and change is inexorable. You can’t stay in college forever. You can’t expect your friends not to leave. You have to accept their decisions and support them.

I would want all of my family there, and a complete surprise. I want him to get down on one knee and use my full name. But for me the surprise part is the most important.

Don’t be selfish with her, because she deserves so much more than that. Being with someone you don’t love is cruel, especially when you know she loves you. It’s holding her back from being free and finding real love.

I don’t need people to validate my looks; I know what I look like. There are plenty of things I could put into making myself “prettier,” but there is so much more to life than being “pretty.”

I want to be in constant awe of the earth and everything it has to offer. I want to see things I could never have possibly imagined and try things I’ve only dreamed of. I want my curiosity to grow greater and stronger than it already is.
