You start to think about what’s next. You start to picture yourself in different places. You mindlessly start scrolling through job searches in random towns just to see what you can find.

The difference between successful people and unsuccessful people is not giving up. If you fail, try again. Ask for help and get feedback from whoever is willing to give it to you.

Your trust is gone. It felt like it was just ripped away from you without warning, almost like the sharp pain of a paper cut slicing open your finger, but a million times worse. It’s just gone.

You can say you’re sorry until you’re blue in the face, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you mean it. Until you no longer repeat those actions you apologized for that will be when you are truly sorry.

When we have a conversation we want to get to know you, the real you. We want to have something engaging and meaningful to talk about. Deep conversation is what it’s all about.

It took me a little while longer to realize this, but it’s almost naïve to think people really care about what you’re doing. Unless you’re a celebrity people aren’t generally keeping tabs on you and constantly talking about you. If you have a successful moment they might congratulate you, but people are trying to figure their owns lives out at the same time.

ll you have in life is your name, which is your word and your integrity. How you live, not what you say, is who you really are. Live and enjoy every minute because life goes by so fast.

You can throw yourself a pity party, but don’t expect others to join in. Everyone might tell you what you’re going through sucks, but no one else is experiencing it first hand besides you.
