I lived in a house with a guy who said his parents were recently dead. He cried about them a lot. When we kicked him out, his parents came and helped him move his stuff out.

The closet had a staircase that would lead you upon to an attic to where you could see into other people’s rooms.

I wish I could go back and explain to us that she was being abused, that it was predatory, and get the guy put in prison.
