Fall In Love With Her Mind Before You Fall In Love With Her Body

There is something to be said about having that mental connection with someone before all the other aspects. When you’re trying to get her, her mind is the one thing that makes her distinct from everyone else. How she processes her thoughts and how she perceives the world all comes from the depths of her mind. How she falls in love you may come from within her heart, but she wouldn’t have the capacity to love you with such purity and such bravery without the wisdom and strength of her mind.

Mental intimacy is the most beautiful form of intimacy that you could possibly form with anyone. Even as you already have her, you have to continually treasure that mind of hers.

Ask her why she’s had the most anxious week and what consumes her thoughts at night.

Let her talk about her immense love and faith for God and let her eyes shine with light as she talks about that passion. Let her talk about that kind of purity of having a craving to just go to church and feel lost in worship and praise for the very Creator of this Universe.

Tell her about everything you’ve never told anyone and let her know that she has the aspect that nobody has.

Be the most vulnerable and transparent version of yourself to her and just tell her the entirety of your thoughts and your emotions.

Ask her why she loves the way she does and how she does it so effortlessly and fearlessly, both at the same time.

Remind her that as all other aspects are important to you, her mind will be one of the aspects that you’ll cherish for as long as you live.

It’s easy to have anyone’s physical aspects. In fact, it’s one of the easiest things to have in a generation focused on modern hookups and one night stands. It’s the rarest thing in the world connect with someone mentally and emotionally, because that’s how you know it’s real. That’s how you know that it’s a love based on substance rather than a superficial connection.

When you have their mind, especially a woman’s mind, all of her is yours — for the rest of her life. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
