Life is a journey of unexpected situations.
One day you feel at the top of the world, powerful and successful, and the next day you are just there, laying on your bed and feeling like a huge failure.
You feel scared, you feel uncertainty and you don’t know what’s going to happen next.
You think have you have all figured out and you believe that the plan you created with a perfect timeline is going to happen just like you scheduled it, but it goes another way.
Do you remember writing that by 21 you were going to be dating “the one” and getting ready for a serious commitment? Do you remember that you wrote on that journal that by 22 you were going to be making money working on your dreamed job?
Are you there now?
No, you are not, and even though it makes you feel frustrated and disappointed, you have to remember that every journey is different, and that someday, if you work hard enough for your goals, you will be there if it’s part of God’s plan for your life.
Maybe the pretty girl from your college is now having the love story you always wanted, or maybe the fun kid that was one of your classmates is now successful at what he does, but that doesn’t mean that is over for you.
You’re still young and have a lifetime to explore, to live, to enjoy, to make mistakes and to learn.
>Not everyone has the same timeline. Some people reach success at young age and other people have to wait longer. Some end a career at 22 and other people become professionals at 32. Some people have kids at 19 and others have theirs at 27 or they just don’t have any at all.
Right now the road feels dark. There’s a lot of confusion and second guessing, but if you want to know what happens next, you have to keep walking even if you don’t know where are you going next.
You have to be strong and walk by faith, not by sight.
You are not alone, because just like you, there are a lot of souls out there, trying to find their place on the world.
You are not alone because there’s a higher power holding you. There’s a God that has a perfect plan for you, even if you don’t believe it right now.
You just have to wait.
