You like someone because of what you see in them, you love someone despite what you see in them.
This romanticized version of true love is based purely on an unhealthy form of dependency.
Self-love is like the mirror that shows us the reflection of our soul. But like any mirror, we need to keep cleaning it regularly with courage, confidence, faith, humility and kindness so that we can see the reflection of our journey so far clearly.
Cry, if you must. Shout, if you want. Run, if it helps. But take your time and deal with the whole process patiently.
Faith is knowing that you are a part of the universe and of a plan even bigger than the universe.
Sometimes, courage lies in giving up. It takes a lot of courage to accept that no matter how badly you wanted something at some point in time, it isn’t necessarily healthy and good for you now.
