I am not looking for love because I’ve realized that is there is nothing wrong with being single.

I have learned to become my own best friend. I am the woman who chooses to do fun things alone, doing things alone feels normal to me.

I’m not alone; I never was. I’ll never be, and all because God knows the shape of my heart; God sees. God hears my prayers; He’s here with me.

I realized that love isn’t something that can heal all wounds. Mine couldn’t heal yours. Yours couldn’t heal mine.

You will always have me.

I am slowly learning that my single status is not something that needs to be cured by the first flirty man that comes along. I don’t have to settle.
