Fire (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) 

They will tease you. Instead of complimenting you on your new haircut, they will make fun of it. Instead of telling you what a good job you did at work, they will point out the one thing you did wrong. They will always find a way to criticize you — but playfully. Maybe they will shove you or give you the finger or pick out an embarrassing nickname. Maybe they will take things a little too far and accidentally make you feel like shit. Either way, they will act like a little kid on the playground because being mean to you is easier than admitting how they really feel about you.

Earth (Tarus, Virgo, Capricorn)

They will tell all of their friends what an idiot you are. They will constantly talk about how much they can’t stand you to overcompensate for how much they like you. Of course, they will also talk shit about the person they think you have a crush on out of jealousy. They aren’t comfortable with their emotions, which is why they will lie to themselves about how much they care about you. They will try to act emotionless. They want to avoid developing even stronger feelings for you, because they would rather stay single than get into something complicated.

Air (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius)

They will play hard to get. They will act like you are invisible. They won’t make eye contact with you in crowds. They will barely say a word to you, even if you are the only two people in the room. They will act like they don’t know your name, like they don’t know you exist. Meanwhile, they actually know everything about you because they pay close attention to every move you make. They just don’t want you to know that and think of them as a stalker. Besides, deep down, they are shy. They aren’t sure how to flirt. They don’t want to embarrass themselves, so they keep their awkward comments to themselves.

Water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) 

They will be sneaky when it comes to their feelings. Whenever you glance over at them, they will glance away so you don’t realize they have been staring. They will never direct message you or like your pictures, but they will watch every snap story and instagram story. They might even take a screenshot of the pictures you post to keep on their camera roll or send to their friends with a caption about how they can’t take how hot you are. Even though they would die if you realized how much they liked you, everyone else in their world already knows how they feel because they never shut up about it.
