I guess conspiracy theories are all the rage in 2017. We’ve got the Oscars’ Best Movie award mix-up (but was it really a mistake?), Obama has been wiretapping Trump Towers since before the election, and then there’s the ~spookiest~ one of all — the “Cash Me Outside” girl might be targeted by the Illuminati???
OK, that’s a pretty bold claim. But people are pretty worried for Danielle Bregoli, whose Instagram was supposedly hacked on Tuesday night and contained these pretty bizarre videos.

“This is the modern day celebrity?” a disembodied voice says as the red screen flashes in the background, displaying a triangle with the words “FACE Security Group” inside of it. “This country glorifies and makes famous a young girl for being disrespectful to her mother. She is no role model. She is no idol. She is no god. Pay close attention to what happens next.”
NOPE.
But that’s only the first of several videos, all of which will probably send chills down your spine if you’re a normal-ass human being.

Unlike the last video, this one encourages the “citizens of the world” to take “matters into our own hands” and said the leaks would begin on Wednesday.

Look, I’m all for letting the “Cash Me Outside” girl fade away from the spotlight (and hopefully my memory, but alas, it may be burned there). I think everyone can agree that she’s not exactly getting attention for all the right reasons. But also, this is fucking crazy. Yes, she’s an angry, annoying attention seeker, but have we forgotten that she’s also really just an angry, annoying 13-year-old?
So Danielle, if you’re out there somewhere scrolling through this article and cursing me under your breath, at least answer this: are you okay, girl?
