It’s not every day that women take initiative with guys, mostly because a lot of us grew up being told that it’s a man’s job to make the first move. And come on, let’s be real: telling people you like them is scary as fuck.

But this sex and relationship blogger took to Twitter to encourage women to ask out the guys they were crushing on, and honestly, it was inspirational.

A lot of women got really positive answers back.

Others… got less than encouraging responses.

Some were just straight-up mean.

Some people are just assholes, tbh. But none of the rejections got me as bad as this one.

Okay, so you aren’t always going to win, but at least you tried. That counts for something, doesn’t it? You’ll never know otherwise. Shoot your shot, ladies. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
