When celebrities use Twitter, it can be a double-edged sword. On one hand, they’re able to create a faux personal relationship with their fans and enhance their brand and marketability. On the other, they could be complete idiots who shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a computer to tweet their thoughts.

What was Twitter before 50 Cent joined? It’s a world I can barely remember and have no desire to live in ever again. Even though he mostly just tweets about having lots of money and getting laid, there’s something strangely engrossing about his comments. They’re often flat-out ridiculous but something leads me to believe that he’s in on the joke-like he’s satirizing the lifestyles of rappers. Actually, I’m probably just giving him too much credit.
