5 Things Every Aquarius Does During A Breakup

5 Things Every Aquarius Does During A Breakup

1. Tries to walk around your feelings so they don’t feel bad for hurting them.

Let’s be real here, every Aquarian is sensitive deep down, so of course, they want to flee the relationship in a way that will make them feel the least like a shitty person for hurting you.

2. Says, “Sorry, we can’t be friends.”

Out of sight, out of mind, baby. Aquarians want to pretend the sting never happened so they are going to box up the relationship and put it on a shelf until they are ready to unpack it and consider making eye contact again, let alone a friendship.

3. Seems detached and very unemotional.

Don’t worry, they did love you once upon a time and probably still do. Aquarians, like I said, compartmentalize. They choose to not dwell or think about how they are actually feeling, in order to get closer to a space where they can just be happy and okay.

4. Reaches out to a million new people and become very social.

Don’t think they are grieving alone because they aren’t. Aquarians will reach for support like no other. Maybe that means following a million girls on Instagram, or maybe it just means they are working out with their buddies every night and becoming obsessed with their triceps – either way, they look to social encounters to feel rejuvenated. Don’t get me wrong, they are certainly binging Netflix alone as well.

5. Thinks 100% logically, 0% emotionally.

This will come across like they don’t care again. Aquarians are very matter of fact. Some people/signs (myself included) are more like, “Oh my gosh I am so sad why didn’t this relationship work blah blah blah.” Aquarians are more like, “I don’t need to analyze why this didn’t work, the fact of the matter is that it simply didn’t work. Next.” This doesn’t mean they don’t care, it just means they think so matter of fact that they don’t sit with their true emotions for long because it doesn’t serve them in the way they are looking for.
