As of late, there’s been a lot of playlisty-type posts floating around commemorating songs that “you forgot existed.” Amidst all the fuss, on genre that was left out of this nice merry-go-round of nostalgia was 2000s pop-punk. Something that’s all too fitting of course, given that pop-punk has more or less made a living of brooding on the sidelines, actively choosing not to participate in the kickball game despite being more than welcome to do so.
