The Wicked movie has been a topic of conversation since Idina Menzel and Kristen Chenoweth graced the Great White Way as Elphaba and Glinda, respectively. It’s been over 20 years since the Broadway musical premiered and we’re finally getting the movie we’ve been waiting for with two-time Oscar nominee Cynthia Erivo as the “Defying Gravity” belter and pop star Ariana Grande as the “popular” blonde. The trailer, which features elaborate sets, magical mayhem, and every color in the Crayola Ultimate Collection dropped during the Super Bowl.
