Ranking The Zodiac Signs From Successful To Doomed To Struggle

God & Man

Libra

(September 23rd to October 22nd)

Libra are likely to be the most successful zodiac sign because their social skills allow them to excel in professional environments — but also because they are emotionally mature and value more than just ruthless ambition. “Success” to a Libra means more than an enviable job and a big house, they want that house to be filled with people they love and to have happy and harmonious relationship with a large inner circle of loved ones. They want a life that not only looks good, but feels good too.

Scorpio

(October 23rd to November 22nd)

A Scorpio’s success in life is going to depend on the people they surround themselves with. They have all the skills they need to have a big career and financial success (drive, focus, negotiating skills up the wazoo) but their hidden emotional nature means they need good relationships, too. If they find a partner who balances them out and builds a happy home life, they’ll feel like they have everything they could ask for in life. However, if they give into their combative nature and choose a partner they spar with frequently, they’ll always feel a little bit insecure and like they haven’t don’t quite enough “yet” to relax.

Taurus

(April 20th to May 21st)

Taurus is a sign that’s built to easily have success. They care about work and family and are focused on these two things at the expense of others (adventure, travel, frivolous social events) so they frequently end up with a lot to show for their efforts. They are steady, dependable people either as employees or as romantic partners.

Aries

(March 21st to April 19th)

Aries are creatures who are made for success. They’re brave, mobile people who have the flexibility to adapt to new situations. On top of this, they love to be challenged which makes them high-performing employees and great leaders. Relationships and family life also tend to be easy for Aries people as they don’t have high or uncommon demands. Aries are people who can be happy with most people making relationships pretty easy to find.

Pisces

(February 19th to March 20th)

Pisces are likely to struggle with the day to day demands of many kinds of jobs. However, since they don’t place much emphasis on external success, they’re not likely to struggle in life. They have all the tools they need to be happy and they don’t need much material security in order to feel like they’ve “made it”. As long as they have a cozy little place to read books and draw and enough time to space out and sleep in, they’re living a good life on their own terms.

Virgo

(August 23rd to September 22nd)

Virgos have an easy time achieving career success. They are ambitious and hard-workers, intelligent and focused. They are model employees and make good managers as well. Beyond the material world, they will struggle some to find happiness as Virgos tend to be very hard on themselves. They will need to find a partner who supports them and builds them up and learn how to acknowledge their own accomplishments rather than always pushing themselves forward without any real stopping point.

Leo

(July 23rd to August 22nd)

Like Capricorn, a Leo’s dependency on needing to appear outwardly successful hinders them. They’d take a more prestigious job over one they could do well (or one that would make them truly happier). They are a sign that frequently picks the wrong path or is slow to take risks — however, they have a likable nature and they do tend to be able to make the best out of every position they’re in.

Cancer

(June 22nd to July 22nd)

A Cancer’s ability to be successful depends on their career aspirations. Their helpful, emotional, conflict-avoidant nature will make navigating the professional world difficult. However, most of the happiness in a Cancer’s life is derived from people, not material things. They’ll be happy with a life that includes harmonious relationships with their partner and family, and some kind of work that feels “meaningful” even if it’s not prestigious to other people.

Capricorn

(December 22nd to January 20th)

It might seem bizarre not to place Capricorn at the top of this list when the sign is full of ambitious people who are high-achievers, but the problem for Capricorns is no amount of success is ever enough. They don’t reach a point where they feel like they’ve “made it”. They’re hard on themselves and will keep up the grind indefinitely, each taste of success making them hungrier to get to the next level. They also value outward appearances, which is dangerous because it’s harder to be truly happy when you’re more interested in the way something looks than the way it feels.

Aquarius

(January 21st to February 18th)

Aquarians aren’t great employees because they have their own ideas about how things should work (and they’re usually right, but bosses don’t like to hear that stuff). They’re independent and don’t thrive in “team” environments. People born in this sign are usually happiest when their career is something very individual, like being a college professor or having their own chiropractic practice. The more autonomy they can have over their life and career, they happier they will be and the farther they will go.

Sagittarius

(November 23rd to December 21st)

Sagittarians are likeable people that everyone wants to have as a co-worker, but they aren’t as well-liked by their bosses. They tend to be the kind of people who skate by doing the bare minimum. They aren’t unable to be successful, it’s just that they’d usually rather be doing something more fun than working — especially when they are working for someone else’s company. The best bet for a Sag is to start their own small business where they’ll be in control and can have a lot of fun while also working on their career.

Gemini

(May 22nd to June 21st)

Gemini’s biggest struggle with the working world is their inability to focus. In order to climb the corporate ladder, you have to first decide which ladder you want to climb. This is very difficult for Gemini! The best thing a Gemini can do is embrace their nature and realize they prioritize an exciting life where they can constantly pursue new passions and work on not comparing themselves to other people who likely achieve more success **because** they’ve stuck with one thing for a long period of time.
