Here’s Why Virgos Are So Prone To Anxiety

If you were lucky enough to be born under a Virgo sun (or if you have any Virgo in your chart), then you will understand the interesting fate it is to be born a Virgo.

Virgos are extremely skilled, highly organized, hard-working, and efficient. They are the ones you want to hire because they will always work hard and do a great job, and they are big people-pleasers. However, as fate would have it, they sometimes cannot see their own worth, and they often get taken advantage of in the workplace as a result. They expect that everyone is working as hard as they are, but this is not usually the case. This can cause a lot of anxiety, because overworking leads to overall dissatisfaction in life, and it can cause a person to become very anxious. Virgos are very prone to burnout if they do not keep this in check.

Virgos are also most commonly known to suffer from social anxiety, generalized anxiety, phobias, and OCD. They can be extremely picky about how things are, and they can sometimes have trouble seeing things from other perspectives due to their natural inclination towards rigidity.

Virgos commonly suffer from stomach or digestive issues due to having this anxious disposition and temperament. They also might have issues with their liver, which is ruled by the solar plexus chakra, which is in the same region as the stomach. It is in charge of self-confidence, and due to this they can be prone to alcoholism or other addictions as a way to mask their anxiety. They also can suffer from eating disorders and restrictive eating. Virgos commonly find themselves in codependent relationships as well.

However, due to suffering so many of these diseases and disorders, and due to their natural inclination to want to help people, Virgos are commonly very drawn towards the fields of healing and health, and once they work through their own anxiety and lack of confidence, they can become some of the most powerful healers out there.

If you are a Virgo I recommend that you carry lavender on you at all times to promote calm. I’d also recommend for you to drink kombucha, do core-building exercises, and consume more protein in your diet to build self-confidence. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
