In Pure News: ‘The Office’ Gals Had Dinner To Celebrate 20 Years Of Friendship
The four happened to be in the city during the same period and decided to get a reunion on the books.
Despite the hit Comedy Central series being long over, friendships from The Office continue to endure. The gals from The Office–Mindy Kaling, Ellie Kemper, Jenna Fischer, and Angela Kinsey–met up for dinner to celebrate 20 years of friendship.
Kinsey, Kemper, Kaling, and Fischer each shared shoutouts of their GNO on Instagram. The four happened to be in the city during the same period and decided to get a reunion on the books.
“Dunder Mifflin, this is Angela, Erin, Pam and Kelly. When we realized we were all in the same city at the same time we knew we had to make this happen,” Fischer wrote on Instagram. Thank you ladies for making me laugh so much last night and for all being so real and amazing after a hard year.
“It’s been 20 years since I first met these beautiful women!” Kaling said on Instagram.
Kemper also reflected on her time filming The Office with the three other actors saying, “PS from my day one of joining the show, these women welcomed me with warmth and kindness. I felt so lucky then, and I feel so lucky now. So what if I’m getting mushy, it’s all true!!”
The Office aired its final episode in 2013 after nine seasons. The mockumentary series continues to be well-loved among its fans.
