How to Survive When He Leaves
It’s okay to have days when you sit and cry endlessly, when you break down from loneliness, when you collapse on your bedroom floor because the thought of getting through another day without him is just too much.

You’re not alone. You’re not the only person who knows the deep, stomach-churning, soul-gutting pain of watching the one you love walk away from you.
And when this happens, there will be days you wake up and just want stay in your bed all day. There will be days when the thought of getting all dressed up and ready to go hang out with your friends seems completely overwhelming. There will be days when memories of you two together flood your mind and nothing you do seems to stop the pain of thinking about the good times you once had with him.
What you need to know is that these days are okay. It’s okay to have days when you sit and cry endlessly, when you break down from loneliness, when you collapse on your bedroom floor because the thought of getting through another day without him is just too much.
But what’s not okay is staying in this sadness. You need to keep putting one foot in front of the other. You need to remind yourself that you’re worthy of a love that will embrace every flaw of yours and that will never abandon you. And the one person who’s guaranteed to give you this love is yourself.
So, when you want to focus on where things went wrong or if he’s ever going to come back or why he doesn’t want you, instead turn your thoughts to loving yourself.
Learn to love every inch of your body, soul, and mind.
Remind yourself that you are full of radiating beauty.
Do things that will make your heart come alive once again.
Because darling, even though you’re hurting, you deserve to feel all the joy and wondrous moments that this life has to offer. And the only way to do that is by loving yourself more than any other person could. You can and will shine bright, with or without him.
