Make Time For God Since He Makes Time For You

He knows everything about you.

Log off your social media. Cancel your plans with your friends. Delay your response to that incoming text. Turn off your television, and just be still. Now go and find a quiet place where you can pause for a while and spend some quality time with God. He loves you and wants to spend some time with you. He probably has a lot He wants to share with you too.

Even with your busy schedule, and all your plans, and all your obligations and commitments and responsibilities, don’t forget to make time for Him. He makes time for you. How could you possibly hear Him and be in tune with what He wants to share with you if you’re always on the go? All the noise and distractions and the disruptions are keeping you from someone who loves you and thoroughly enjoys your company. Make the time for Him. He makes time for you.

If you’re reading this, surely you must know how much He’s blessed you? He’s given you another day of life. Eyes to see. A mind to understand. And access to technology to get this.

He knows everything about you, right down to the number of hairs on your head (Luke 12:7). And He values and loves you so much. He knows what makes you happy. He knows what makes you sad. He knows who and what makes you angry. He knows what worries you and everything you’re afraid of too. He knows who and what hurts you, and He understands exactly how you feel at every moment of every single day. Make time for Him. He’s ready and waiting and available to make time for you. Always.

You can be still. Or you can go pray. You can laugh and tell Him all about the things that got on your nerves throughout the day. And you can even cry if you need to because He knows. He knows. God always knows. He knew who you were before you came into this world (Jeremiah 1:5) and He knows who you will become. Spend time with Him, give it time, and all will be revealed. The more time you spend with Him, the more you’ll hear his voice and discover, in time, all He has in store for you too. (1 Corinthians 2:9).

You, you imperfect and flawed yet lovable and extraordinary, unique, and one-of-a-kind precious soul, are so loved. And the one who created and loves you desires to spend as much time with you as possible. So slow down for a bit, relax, and let Him in. He makes time for you, so make time for Him too.
