Your Best Relationship Will Be With Someone Who Loves Books

God & Man

Date someone who loves books. Someone who can regale you with tales from the shelves of libraries, from dusty old tomes that everyone has forgotten. Someone who has the right sort of quote for every occasion that just illuminates your entire perspective on the world and all of your problems.

Date someone who enjoys reading. Someone whose eyes light up at the thought of a day at home with you, reading to you the stories from your own favourite books and perhaps even poetry. Someone who loves the comfort of your head in their lap whilst they recite to you the poetry of Byron or Keats or any of the romantics really.

Date someone who finds themselves in book shops. Who spends hours browsing to find the right kind of reading material that will bring their lives  enlightenment that they can then share joyfully with you. Who believes that giving you the very best of their own hearts means giving you a part of their own souls too.

Date someone who always has a book on them. Who believes in losing themselves within words so they always know what to say when you are hurting, when you need someone to hold you and whisper sweet things to you. Someone who can talk to you about everything under the sun because they have read everything under the sun.

Date someone who loves books. Someone who takes you on magical journeys with all of the tales that they can tell and all of the stories they have read. Someone who is gentle and empathetic as they are full of depth. Someone who will hold your hand the way the characters in the stories do…and help you grow and evolve because thats the way all good love stories go. TC mark

Your Soul Is A River

“Love a soft person. The ones who are positive, even in the worst of circumstances. Someone whose strength is not in bravado, but in their quiet. Someone who is strong for others because that is what is needed in that moment. Someone who is the moon that soothes instead of the sun that burns. Someone who sees the very best in people even when you think they aren’t worth it. The kind of person who always wants to do the best for those they love.”
—Excerpt from Your Soul Is A River, by Nikita Gill

“I bought this on a whim to read as I was resting for the night, and I do not regret it one bit! Everything about the poetry in this book is amazing, heart breaking, and soul searching. It will lift your spirits on your darkest days. I want to thank the author so much for writing this, as it’s something I will be rereading a lot! Always remember, everything about you is important. You matter.” —McKayla
