What To Watch On July 5, 2025: It’s Christmas In July!
I know we just wrapped up the ultimate summer holiday, but no one is giving you a chance to catch your breath, because ‘Christmas In July’ is here, whether you realized it was coming or not. TV is chomping at the bit to get us in a different holiday spirit, and it’s not just Hallmark that’s doing it. Check out the latest below!
Hallmark’s ‘Christmas In July’ Kicks Off With First Debut
The Hallmark Channel is releasing four new films as part of their Christmas in July event, Starting with Unwrapping Christmas: Tina’s Miracle. Following the tried and true formula, we have a small business owner, Tina, who runs gift-wrapping shop “All Wrapped Up”, who is in the midst of organizing her town’s Christmas Gala, when she falls for handsome new stranger Michael. However, the vibes are ruined when he ruins a holiday tradition by causing her to lose the event venue. Premiering at 8 p.m. ET, you can catch this bad boy on the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark+ app.
Even anime has it’s own Christmas spin today
Crunchyroll is debuting this next installment of the Rascal Does Not Dream series following Sakuta Azusagawa as he heads to university in Yokohama and starts dating a well-known actress to boot. But his encounter with Touko Kirishima, a girl in a mini-skirt Santa costume, presents new learnings about ‘Adolescence Syndrome’ the fictional phenomenon central to the series’ plot that serves as a metaphor for the psychological and emotional turmoil of growing up.
Notable Anniversaries: Seinfeld Turns 36

The world’s most famous “show about nothing” is ringing in it’s 36th birthday today, based on co-creator Larry David’s policy of “no hugging, no learning”, it’s basically the anti-thesis of The Bear, but captured hearts and minds all the same. Streaming brought new life to classic sit-coms like Seinfeld, allowing modern viewers to watch all 180 episodes in chronological order, instead of catching reruns piece-meal. I guess you could say that’s “soup” for everyone.
