The Institute debuts on MGM+

Stephen King’s 2019 novel is coming to television today, directed by TV vet Jack Bender who has worked on LOST, FROM, The Sopranos, and Game of Thrones. Westworld‘s Ben Barnes stars as Tim Jamieson, a former cop whose search for a quiet life gets interrupted by the mysterious kidnapping of a 14-year-old with supernatural powers. The eight-part horror thriller will launch with two episodes today, with weekly installments to follow.

Love Island: Beyond the Villa

Every popular dating show has to have it’s spin-offs, and the U.S. version of Love Island is no exception. In Beyond The Villa former contestants bring the cameras back home with them as they return to “normal” life in L.A., and navigate post-series relationships and new-found fame. Season 6 alums Serena Page, JaNa Craig, Leah Kateb, and Miguel Harichi are set to participate. While the premiere airs tonight, weekly episodes will drop every Thursday at 9 p.m. ET.

If Elle Woods didn’t make you want to scrap all your childhood dreams to go to Harvard and become a lawyer, where even were you in 2001? This iconic rom-com is just one year shy of it’s 25th anniversary, but that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate with as much pink as we can get our hands on. With Mindy Kaling co-writing a third film for the franchise, we’ll have more Elle to enjoy before we know it.
