‘Weak Hero Class 2’ Drops Today (4/25) On Netflix—Don’t Miss Si-Eun’s First Day At A New School

The Sequel to Weak Hero Class 1 , Weak Hero Class 2 has finally arrived on Netflix today (4/25). The Korean action drama, written and directed by Yoo Soo-min, originally made its debut back in 2022 at the 27th Busan International Film Festival, before launching to streaming audiences on Wavve.

Inspired by the popular Naver webtoon of the same name by Seopass and Kim Jin-Seok, Weak Hero follows ambitious student Yeon Si-Eun (played by K-Popstar Park Ji-Hoon) as he navigates bullying and school violence despite his shy nature and lack of physical strength.

When Si-Eun realizes he cannot avoid violence or confrontation altogether, he draws on his own intelligence and strategic thinking to create a unique fighting style that mirrors the stylistic combat scenes from Guy Richie’s Sherlock Holmes franchise. New alliances with fellow classmates Ahn Su-Ho and Oh Beom-Seok provide Si-Eun a sense of community he has never known before.

But Beom-Seok’s growing insecurity and shocking betrayal in season 1 pushed Si-Eun beyond his limits, and ultimately drove him to transfer schools. This latest season will explore his integration into student life at Eunjang High School. Here’s what we know so far!

Si-Eun won’t go back to his lone wolf ways, and finds new friends in classmates Park Hu-Min, Seo Jun-Tae, and Go Hyun-Tak, but it’s not all smooth sailing for the quartet. They are facing up against an even bigger and more violent gang known as “Union”, led by Na Baek-Jin and Geum Seong-Je.

Don’t miss the madness of binging all eight new episodes of Weak Hero Class 2 from the beginning!
