10 Songs That Make You Feel Like A Bad Bitch

We all have those days when we just need that extra oomph to raise us to our full potential. That why you need a #BadBitch playlist. Here are ten songs that never fail to make me feel like a badass when I’m struttin’ to class or eating alone in the dining hall. Or when I’m driving to work and I need a lift to survive staring at a computer for the rest of the day.

1. Hard – Rihanna

I don’t think it’s humanly possible to hear this song and not feel like a boss. Like, I’m pretty sure if a scientist did a study on this phenomena there would be data to back up this statement. But whatever, I love riri, and when she’s not posting 20 pics in a row on instagram she’s dropping sick beats.

2. Fancy – Iggy Azalea

WOW. IGGY. A white girl from Australia is also my fav female rapper cuz she’s just amazing and holy shit HER BODY/FACE/ERRYTHING I want to be her. Also the video for this song is an homage to Clueless one of the best movies to come out of the 90s soooo basically she’s winning in all ways.

3. Bad Girls – M.I.A.

The ultimate bad bitch is M.I.A. She’s perfect. She oozes the feeling of giving no fucks and still winning in all ways. Whenever I hear this song I imagine a group of rich white girls in a convertible singing their hearts out. Thank you M.I.A. for giving every girl a song to feel like the  bad girl.

4. Diva – Beyonce

I’m not a huge fan of Beyonce but I love this shit out of this song. Nananana diva is a female version of a hustlaaaaa~ just reminds me of when my best friend and I would drive around town in a minivan feeling like badasses. Thank you Beyonce for allowing us that moment.

5. London Bridge – Fergie

Fergie-ferg!!! I love Fergie. Since we’re name twins I feel like we have a special connection and this song is my favorite from her solo album cuz I think it was the least overplayed…we all know the radio ruined Fergalicius and Glamorous (and ruined everyones ability to spell tasty, but I digress). Fergie is the opposite of basic. Lets all pray she quits the atrocity that is the Black Eyed Peas and gives us some new music!

6. Sleazy – Ke$ha

I love Ke$ha. She basically inspired my nose ring because she rocks it so hard, and I just want to party with her because she knows whats up. Also, of all the people in this world, she knows how to appreciate beards. And probably #manbun’s too. So yeah. I’m probably going to write a separate essay on how I feel about her retiring the $, now she’s just Kesha, but everyone evolves right?? Anyway about this song, Sleazy, it’s so good and I’ll never understand why it wasn’t a single!

“You can’t imagine the immensity of the fuck I’m not giving” is actually me. Every single day.

7. Paper Gangsta – Lady Gaga

GAGAAAAAAA. I had a period in time where I was obsessed with the fabulousness that is gags and this song is probably her most badass. Also in the music video for Telephone (one of my favorite videos of all time) this song comes on during the prison scene and it’s basically how I feel when I listen to this song. I feel like a convict. YEAHHH BITCH

8. Fuck You – Lily Allen

I love listening to this song and directing it to a certain person. I feel vindicated. Lily is coming back after a few years off and I can’t wait for new music from this divaaaaaa.

9. Marina and the Diamonds – Bubblegum Bitch

Marina Diamandis can sang. And this song is my jam. This is a short, quick song but gets you in the mood to take on anything (like mean teachers).

10. Do Somethin’ – Britney Spears

Ummm I almost finished this post without including a song from the legendary miss Britney Spears. Basically anything in her discography qualifies as a #badbitchalert but I’ve really been feelin Do Somethin’ lately (and her routine during this song for her Vegas performance is amaze). It’s from her first greatest hits album, which also includes the perfect My Prerogative, which gets an honorable mention in this playlist.

Hope you guys enjoy listening and let me know your fav bad bitch songs in the comments! Thought Catalog Logo Mark
