Now that I’m single, I’ve finally come home to myself.
Don’t grip onto things that are no longer an extension of you.
When pain comes around, I welcome it into my arms. I say, “Hello, my old friend.” I look at it right in the eye. Because without pain, I wouldn’t be who I am today.
You built a home but the foundation you built it on was swiped underneath you because it was never permanent.
You do not need more answers. You need more questions.
You give and you give. And you wait for a drop of love to receive to nourish you to keep going. It keeps you going for a few moments. But soon enough, you’re drained again.
