You keep blaming other people for your problems.

It takes time to realize everything in your life is a reflection of the choices you’ve made. Yeah, there might have been some things you couldn’t control but as you grow up pointing the finger of blame at others doesn’t change your situation. It might change how you feel about a situation but the only way to really change is to own up to everything in your life and take back control of it.


You’re only thinking about yourself.

You’re a bit self-absorbed. It’s great to have confidence. It’s great to be doing well as you are. But it wouldn’t hurt to put others first sometimes. Get yourself involved in a non-profit. Realize as good as you can make yourself feel when you back to others it makes you feel even better about yourself.


You aren’t enjoying the moment.

You are constantly thinking about the next thing. You struggle to be present. You are attached to your phone at all times. One day you are going to realize how much you missed in the past thinking too much about your future. Remember it’s about the journey, not the destination.


You aren’t addressing what is actually the issue.

It’s difficult to admit what is actually wrong. We spend our entire lives trying to hide how we feel and play it off like everything is always fine. But addressing the things in the past even those things that hurt, might bring up bad memories but it will help you, in the long run, to address what you need to and move forward.


You assume the worst of everyone and everything.

You keep expecting the worst of people and situations and it keeps happening. That negative self-talk is manifesting, the things you fear to become a reality. If you want to change your life you have to change the way you think about your life. If you want positive things to happen to realize how you talk to yourself and how you talk about the things in your life. You are attracting everything you are getting in your life.


You have unrealistic expectations.

While it’s great to have goals and dreams and high expectations of others it’s also important to make those things realistic. You’ll never have the perfect partner. You’ll never have the perfect job where you like every part of it. But if you realize areas of your life might not be perfect but they are good enough, that appreciation and not striving for grass that is greener on the other side will teach you to appreciate what you have. Maybe the thing you want is already right in front of you. Don’t lose them and realize it then.


You are holding onto the past.

Living in the past won’t change the present. Hoping someone comes back won’t make them. All you have is right now and right now you can either make your life better or you can keep mourning something that is already lost. If you truly believe someone or something is meant to be in your life, live your life and let it come naturally back to you.


You are comparing your life to everyone around you.

The only person you should be trying to be better than is the person you were yesterday. The moment you take your eye off of yourself and start worrying about what other people are doing, you’ll fall further behind them. Just give your best and if you can strive to be better than that tomorrow you are already ahead of the game.


You let others have what is rightfully yours.

You’re passive. You want something or someone but you won’t go after it. You deserve the best of everything in your life, everything you want but if you don’t go after it and take you’ll have to watch someone else do that. If you want something go for it and don’t let anyone tell you, you can’t have the thing you want most.


You are waiting to start living your life.

Your life is happening right now. Your life won’t happen when you get that car or house or job. This is your life and if you keep saying to yourself I’ll be happy when you keep chasing after something that’s unattainable. Start living right now.


You’re gravitating towards toxic things and people.

We all become addicted to toxic things people or habits. But you need to realize how it’s affecting your life and you have to be brave enough to let it go. Even if it’s something or someone that used to make you happy. Sometimes things become toxic not because they are bad but through self-improvement and striving to be a better version of ourselves sometimes we outgrow the things that used to make us happy and that’s okay.


You keep playing it too safe.

You let fear dictate every choice you make. Yeah, things could go terribly wrong when you take a risk but there’s just as much of a chance things can go right and you can be happier than you ever thought you could be. Always run towards the things that scare you and don’t look back.
