15 Signs You’re Falling For Her Whether You Like It Or Not

“So how does it happen, great love? Nobody knows… but what I can tell you is that it happens in the blink of an eye. One moment you’re enjoying your life, and the next you’re wondering how you ever lived without them.” -Hitch

1. You want to tell her things.

When something good or bad happens she’s the first you want to talk to.

Even if it’s like minor details of your life you want to share it with her. In fact, you’re looking for any reason to talk to her because she’s one of your favorite people to have conversations with.

2. You’re growing interested in the things she likes.

Things that used to not interest you remotely suddenly do. And it’s not being fake or pretending to be someone you aren’t, she’s changing you a little bit for the better.

3. She makes you nervous.

Maybe it’s those five seconds before you talk to her but you see her approaching and your heart beats a little bit faster. There is something about her that makes you a little nervous maybe it’s how much you care because you aren’t ready to admit. Maybe it’s knowing her value but being afraid of hurting her or messing something up. Maybe it’s the way she lives her life that both scares you and inspires you. But it’s the people that scare you most that are the best.

4. You’re kinder than usual.

You treat her better than you treat anyone in your life and you have these moments you hope she notices where you’re trying to show her she matters.

The truth is she makes you want to be a better man.

5. You actually care when you hurt or disappoint her.

If you hurt others or let them down it doesn’t really impact you as much. But when it’s her you’re angry at yourself because you know she deserves better and you feel really guilty for it.

6. You catch yourself in moments of jealousy.

Maybe it’s when she’s talking to someone you’re just watching and wondering who he is. Or it’s someone across social media you see in her insta or snap story. Maybe it’s a text or snap she doesn’t answer and you find yourself sending another wondering what she’s doing. The truth is if you’re jealous you care.

7. You catch herself creeping or blowing up her newsfeed.

She’s one of the top people who come up on your newsfeed. You care about what she’s up to. You want to check her story but you don’t want to seem too eager so you wait a little. Or you creep a bit and next thing you know you’re scrolling through insta looking at pics from years ago for reasons you can’t even come up with.

8. You’re always happy to see her.

Her presence is never anything that inconveniences you. You see her and your face lights up and you might not even notice. But she simply makes you happy.

9. And miss her when she’s not around.

If you haven’t seen her heard from her in awhile you kind of wonder why? And you won’t ever say you miss her but you do hope she misses you too.

10. You think of her late at night.

When you’re laying there alone and thoughts are running through your mind and it’s super late, she’s the one you’re thinking about. And you reach for your phone questioning what is she doing and if she’s awake and you want to text her first but you also don’t want to seem vulnerable.

11.You think of her when you hear certain songs.

Suddenly those songs that you might have skipped over are starting to make sense. You replay it hearing the words with her in mind and you kind of hate yourself for it but you can’t control it.

12. You get close then pull back.

Maybe it’s a night out together where you completely felt everything and you know she did too. Maybe it was a conversation where you were a little too honest. Maybe she broke through some wall you put up that very few have. Regardless you push her away and completely pull back from her and don’t talk to her for a little while because of it.

13. You’d do anything for her.

With her, the answer is always yes.

14. No one else really compares.

She’s unlike anyone you’ve met and probably isn’t your type.

And you find yourself maybe hooking up with other girls or going out on dates but in the back of your mind you’re thinking of her and thinking how she puts everyone else to shame.

15. You’re afraid to actually admit it.

You’re afraid of how much you care. You’re afraid of what this could be. And you can try and deny it and look the other way but one of two things will happen, you’ll either grow a pair and do something about it or someone else will. And when you can’t stand the thought of someone else being with her that’s when you know everything you need to.Thought Catalog Logo Mark
