Netflix’s Brigderton, from Executive Producer Shonda Rhyes and Creator Chris Van Dusen, is one of the steamiest series to grace the streaming platform. With dialogue ranging from the sexually ravenous to the dreamily romantic, the series has left viewers foaming at the mouth since Simon Bassett first told Daphne that he burns for her in season one.
With season three upon us, Netflix has dropped an anticipation-building little teaser for the installment about Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton. In the sneak peek, Penelope tells Colin, “Your eyes. A most remarkable shade of blue. Yet, somehow, they shine even brighter when you are kind.” They stare into each other’s eyes with longing and wonder. They ultimately break eye contact and awkwardly fumble around before Penelope notes that she “might say something like that if [he] were a suitor.” Colin then notes her directness, and the brief clip comes to a close. Fans of the series have already taken to Twitter to share their excitement.
