This one appeared to be an homage to Michelangelo’s Pieta, only with the genders reversed. The smiling man was in the Mary-role, his arms wrapped around the shoulders of a screaming pregnant woman. The altar was mostly shrouded in darkness and there was a pew partially obscuring the camera’s view, but something was climbing out of the woman and it’s pretty safe to assume it wasn’t whatever normally climbs out of pregnant ladies.
I heard the doors behind Danny open and he turned to reveal a surprisingly young guy enter, dressed in much more modern-looking arctic wear than the previous figure and clutching a glowing smartphone. The guy was still staring down at the phone in his hand as he asked, “Daniel, right?”
“Danny’s fine,” he said. “I mean, yeah… Hi.”
The guy nodded at his phone and replied, “Right on. Fuckin’ cold as tits out here, huh?”
Danny sounded uneasy as he said, “Alderson?”
“Yup,” was the guy’s only response. Finally, Alderson locked the phone and slid it into his jacket as he looked up at Danny and grinned. “Alright, hombre. You ready to do this?”

“You can ask but I have no clue. Gives me the fucking creeps just being in here. Come on,” he said and gestured for Danny to follow as Alderson started towards the rear of the church. He led Danny through another strange looking door and then down a short set of spiral stairs.
